The Holidays are Here. Get Out Your Kvittera!

Next Thursday is Thanksgiving 2018.  How this is possible I could not begin to tell you.  But it is.  So the fun begins.  Party, party, party.  You are attending parties and giving parties.  It's like six weeks of partying.  I shutter to think what the scales will say once this is all over, but we'll hope for the best and take what we get.  Now to our Kviterra.  If you are going to be giving a party, you will need at least one Kviterra and possibly two or three.  What am I talking about?

Why this lovely three-tiered serving tray from IKEA.  We made a run to IKEA recently to pick up a couple work tables and after we were done in the showroom we made out way downstairs to the Market.  That was where I found Kvittera.  I only purchased one because I wanted to see if I liked it, which I do.  It is a nice, sturdy serving tray that can be mixed and matched with your best china or everyday serving pieces, whichever you decide.  Two or three of these on your buffet and you will be the hit of the town.

As with nearly everything at IKEA, they come unassembled.  Sufficiently packaged to keep the glass trays from breaking.  It is tempered glass so it would take quite an effort to break.

Everything you need to assemble is included in the box, except for a flat screwdriver to tighten it all up one you have it assembled.

Start with the largest platter on the bottom and just follow the instructions to see how the washers are to be installed.

Once you get the first extender in place, the rest of the assembly goes very quickly.

The next thing you know, you have a very nice three-tiered tray from which you can serve your guests a whole host of goodies.  These can be used to serve from or, they can be decorated with seasonal greens and ornaments and set strategically on your table to add some holiday cheer.  Either way you decide to use them, you will get a beautiful look on your table.  Dim the lights and set a few tea candles around them and watch the light from the flame sparkle off the tempered glass.

I put this together and then made a dessert to see how it would look served on these.  Fabulous!!  Come back tomorrow to see how that turned out.
