Let's Store the Phone Charger Cord in the Car

There is no telling how many iPhone charging cords I have bought over the years and placed in the cars.  Yet every time we set off on a trip, I cannot find them.  So I decided to try something new.  I thought it might be a good idea to place the cord(s) in dedicated holders.  That way they might be less apt to disappear.  Take a look.

I found these cute little round zippered cases at Bed, Bath & Beyond on a recent trip.  I thought these would work perfectly as storage for phone charging cords.

Very simple design.  They just zip open, ...

... to reveal two inside storage pods.  One side is open and the other side has a mesh netting which is helpful to keep the cord and the charger separated.

So, here is one of our many charging cords and an adapter that can be used in what used to be referred to as the cigarette lighter.  One of the cars has a USB port which simplifies the process.  You just need the charging cable.  You plug one end into the USB port in the car and the other end into the phone.  Done.  But we still need the extra adapter for the other car, so we will hang on to that for a while.

The adapter goes on the side with the netting.

And the charging cord on the other side, neatly wound.

And here you have both items neatly stored and ready for the next trip.

Zip it up.

And place it in the console or anywhere inside the car where, hopefully, you will remember where it is for your next road trip.  A neat, clean and fashionable way to store your charging cord for your phone in the car.
