A Paws of Enchantment Experience for Baxter

Guess who had a day at the spa on Friday.  Baxter, of course.  And boy did he need it.  We had so much going on during the holidays that we simply could not find a suitable time to take him over for a cut.  Finally one day last week I contacted Cassandra and she said we could bring him over on Friday.  She did such a good job on him, as she does every time he visits.  Read on for how his day unfolded.

Here he was when we arrived at Paws of Enchantment at nine o'clock.  Click here to be taken to their website.  He was just a mess.  He is a wire-hair, but his hair is less "wiry" than you may think.  It just gets very long and unmanageable.

Prominently displayed in the lobby is a large and beautiful purple lavender quartz healing and calming stone.  I think I have mentioned in previous posts that Paws of Enchantment it is a holistic pet spa.  Here, Baxter is enjoying a visit with this beautiful purple quartz stone which is known to have special calming properties.

After visiting the calming stone, it was time to get started with the grooming.  Here he is with the owner of Paws of Enchantment, Cassandra Kraham.  He loves Cassandra.  When we mention her name he goes crazy and runs toward the front door.  He loves her.  And we do too!

To get things started, she applied a little lavender oil on his ears.  This essential oil also has calming qualities.

Then it was on to a tearless blueberry facial.  Look at that face.  He loves all of his spa treatments. He always smells so wonderful when he comes home from a day at the spa.  Not overly perfumed, just clean and fresh.

Here, after his cut, he met Sage the kitty.  He was quite interested  in Sage because he has had very few interactions with the feline of the species in his life.  What was this creature all about?

Finally, it was time to come home.  In his seat, bucked in and ready for the ride home.

On the drive home.  Paw perched securely on the door, looking ahead at the traffic.  And a very cute little Valentine's Day kerchief from Cassandra.

Shortly after arriving home, it was time for a nap with dad.

And later on, another picture of a sleepy little boy.  He always feels so good and so relaxed after his spa days.  I am glad we are able to give him this special treat.  Be sure to visit www.pawsofenchantment.com
