You would think we were well into the fall season to look at the deck.
But this is not due to shorter days and the change of seasons. This is due to a lack of rain. I could not tell you that last time it rained. And, as a result, the trees are shedding their leaves. This is a recent picture on our deck. It looks like we are in late October. The yard is completely barren, both front and back. This has been a harsh summer.
