Enjoy These Last Few Photos of Spring

We are fast losing the beautiful blossoms of spring here in the mid-Atlantic.  I took a few more shots late last week that I am sharing with you today.

This bed of tulips in red and yellow has started its decline.  Hopefully those are warm weather pansies in this photo that we will have for a while longer.

Another beautiful redbud tree in the Georgetown area of Washington,  This is next to the House of Sweden.  That is the Whitehurst Freeway in the distance on the left side of the picture.  The Whitehurst Freeway is an elevated thruway which bypasses Georgetown traffic and allows commuters from Virginia to reach their offices in downtown DC with greater ease.  In the evening, this same roadway is used by Virginia commuters to return to their homes in the suburbs.

And finally, a close up shot of the trunk of the redbud tree with beautiful blooms.  What a serene setting and a nice place to take a walk to recharge your batteries.
