We Took a Few Days Off

We were on vacation last week.  Well, not really vacation, but away from work.  We hope everyone enjoyed the Memorial Day holiday on Monday.  Actually, we had our Memorial Day celebration combined with Steven's birthday celebration on the Saturday before Memorial Day Monday.  So we worked on the actual holiday.  And what did we work on?  Crest Avenue, of course.  We have put everything into high gear so that we can get the last few projects completed so we can list it.  Rodolfo and crew have been busy at work over the last week fixing loose slate tiles on the kitchen floor, power washing and sealing the deck, finishing up detail work on the cedar siding, and installing a new wall in the shower and eventually replacing the tile on that wall with new black tile.  Bob has been helping out too.  Preparing the wall in the kitchen so that we can finish the back splash installation, fixing the stopper thingie in the bathroom sink and various other tasks that need to be done before the sale.  There will be lots to share with you this week and over the coming weeks so stay tuned.  In the meantime, take a look below.

In the middle of all the hoopla of getting Crest Avenue ready for sale, I still carved out time to plant a garden.  And what appeared last week?  This tiny little tomatoes.  I hope this is a sign of good things to come.
